This charming doorstop, shaped like a classic rope knot ball, is much more than a functional piece. With its nautical character and vivid colors, it evokes images of sunlit decks, billowing sails and sturdy ropes weathered by time and sea. The knot itself, known as a «monkey’s fist,» was once used by sailors to throw lines from ship to shore thanks to its weight and balance.
Here, the traditional knot has been given a new roleholding doors open with steady charm. Its weight, once used to guide mooring ropes, now anchors the atmosphere of a room with subtle strength. Perfect for coastal cottages, seaside homes or any interior that values craftsmanship and story. A timeless piece where tradition and practicality meet with character.
